Our focus this week at the Allotment playgroup was messy-play. Lots of activities were laid out and the children could choose to take part in what they wanted. It was lovely to have some bigger siblings along to this session
For our last Forest School of the Summer season we played with an obstacle course that had appeared over night in the woods!
At Forest school this week we stuck to getting the basics right- making shelters and lighting fires!
At big kids forest School this month we made bows and arrows and practiced shooting at targets. We made peg fairies or elves and played with them in an amazing fairy village. We made magic wands out of willow and
At The allotment playgroup this week we harvested, washed, weighed, chopped, jammed and ate strawberries!
This week at Forest School we explored the meadow, painted with mud, made Sun pictures and found a frog!
This week we had a magical time in the woods and at the allotment pretending to be fairies, kings and queens. We played with clay, made flower crowns, crafted our own willow wands and made teeny tiny woodland fairies.
This week at the allotment we planted tomato, sunflowers, pumpkins and mini sweet-corns. We painted, paddled in the mud-pit, played in the sandpit and explored.
This week at Forest School we jumped in puddles, paddled in the stream, hunted for worms and made Elderflower tea.
This week at Forest School and Allotment playgroup we went on bug hunts, made Hapa Zoma prints of bugs and butterflies and got creative with clay and paint. So much fun! !
