Muddy Boots sisterhood. A midsummer dream. Saturday 22nd June

A midsummer dream focusses on the energy, vibrancy and excitement of high summer.

This retreat day features a talk on womb wisdom, a chance to try ceremonial cacao, a mindful walk, foraging for herbs and flowers to make teas and our craft will be making natural mobiles and/or dream-catchers. There will be plenty of time for a shared feast, lounging in hammocks, finding your perfect ‘sit spot’, reading inspiring books, chatting, dreaming and simply relaxing.

Rochelle Hubbard founder of Eat Smile Live (www.eatsmilelive.com) a nutrition and lifestyle health coach, Moon Mother and essential oil educator will be joining us this month.

Rochelle says; My workshop will teach how to truly connect to your magical, deeply feminine womb wisdom. You will learn how to harness and celebrate your female energies and use them to live and work in harmony with yourself and with the world around you and we will be sharing ceremonial grade cacao raw chocolate! Our crafts this month will be natural mobiles and dream catchers led by Forest school leaders Emily and Jodie. Join us in creating beautiful crafts inspired by your surroundings and using found materials from the woods. Using willow, feathers, raw wool, leaves and flowers you will create your own masterpiece to take home. These craft skills are so relaxing, especially when approached in a mindful way in an outdoor setting. Allow your thinking mind to take a rest and enjoy some handwork whilst chatting or listening to birdsong.

Keeping with the theme of mindfulness, we will be experimenting with eating and walking in a mindful manner. There will be time to find your perfect ‘sit spot’ and have some quiet time alone to contemplate, journal, read or rest in a place in the woods that calls to you.

The campfire is a great focal point for group gatherings. As always we will be lighting the campfire and cooking up some tasty snacks. This month we will be making our own fresh herbal and flower teas accompanied by toasted sourdough bread and a variety of jams.
