I am really sad to say that I’ve made the difficult decision to pause all My Muddy Boots groups and events for the time being.
In light of the new government guidelines to ‘limit non essential contact with others’ I feel this is the correct ethical decision for us all. So I will not be holding any sessions for the time being. The health of our community has to come first, even though this is a huge blow for me personally and financially for my small business.
At this point, the picture is unclear as to how long this guidance is likely to last and when we will be able to re-open. I ask that you bear with me and I will aim to reschedule all missed sessions as soon as it is advisable to do so. I don’t expect this to be until after the Easter break at the earliest.
At this difficult time for us all, please remember how soothing time in nature can be. Even just watching birds from your window, caring for your houseplants, or planting a few seeds in pots can really lift your spirits. I encourage you to connect with nature in a small way every single day, even if you are stuck inside. Let’s support each other and soon we can begin looking for the positives that will grow from this situation.
I know how much these groups mean to so many of you and your little ones, I’m sorry to have to do this and thank you for the supportive messages I’ve been receiving all day.
If you have not already contacted me or been in touch on social media, I’d appreciate it if you could let me know you’ve seen this message.
We will be back together making art, exploring the woods and tending to the allotment very soon.
PS I have taken tickets off sale for all sessions and events. As soon as we are sure of dates for re-starting, then tickets will be available to purchase again.
